Flower Garden Festival

My roommate, Diamond, and I went to Epcot today for a few hours because I have been dying to see the flowers and she never seen the World Showcase so it was a win win for the both of us.  We jumped on the bus and we stayed for 4 hours and just walked around and talked while I took pictures of everything! This is going to be a long post of 32 pictures :) only about half of all the pictures I took.  It was pretty cool though...but I was expecting to see a lot more flowers throughout the park but its okay it was still cool to see the shapes and characters they made out of the flowers and grass.

Lazy Rainy Weekend

For the first time since I started I had 3 consecutive days off and they just happened to be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!  I don't think I ever had a whole weekend like that off even when I am at Target!  But it just so happened that the last 3 days it has been raining and storming all day.  Which makes for great sleeping in and watching movies all day and not so much going out and being productive.  But I don't mind..sometimes you need a break from going going going.  And this weekend was my break..and it was well needed.  Last week I worked 46 hours...doesn't sound like too much but those hours weren't the same times every day so I was waking up at different times and not getting the amount of sleep I need to feel good.  So my rainy weekend was A-Okay for me :D

Last Saturday it was my friend's 21st birthday, so my roommates and I decided to take her to downtown Orlando. It was a lot of fun, not too busy which was weird since it was a Saturday but I'm not a fan of the big crowds anyways.  We took a bunch of pictures on my roommate's phone but the next day she dropped it in a puddle..so we lost all those pictures because her phone wouldn't turn back on.  But I did get a couple of pictures on my phone of the 4 of us girls.

I wish I had more pictures or more adventures to show you but adventures just haven't been happening as often as they did when we first got here.  I do plan on going to the flower garden festival sometime soon so I will post pictures of that.

St. Pete's beach

My only day off this week was yesterday. I spent it with my boyfriend at the beach. It was a relaxing day laying out and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico which was fairly warm. I'd actually say it was warmer than the pool at my apartment. But the bad part is my so called water proof sun screen wasn't so water proof so I look like a tomato with raccoon eyes...I'd say it's not my look :p

The wildlife here...turkeys 10 feet away from my steps...really scary haha I also saw my first wild alligator crossing the street a couple days ago as well as I almost stepped on a snake...too much wildlife..haha

Happy Easter!

Today was my first day at Magic Kingdom.  It was okay! I saw a couple of my co-workers from my main workplace there as well so that made it that much easier.  I am the first of my roommates off today but supposedly we are going to have Easter dinner.  We'll see if they end up feeling like cooking :P

Cocoa Beach

Wow, where has the week gone?  Today is my first day off in 10 days.  I did have yesterday off but I was called in.  Super busy working during spring break! Next week I am actually being deployed to Magic Kingdom-Pecos Bills.  If you don't know what park Magic Kingdom is, its the "main" park with Cinderella's Castle...and Peco's Bills is one of the larger restaurants in the park...so I am kind of nervous about working there for 6 days this next week.

My last day off was last Tuesday and my boyfriend and I went to Cocoa Beach.  Its about an hour away from where I live.  It was really nice and quiet.  The ocean was a bit rough though.  We walked the beach but we didn't go swimming.  He forgot his swim trunks...how does one forget their swimming suit when they are going to the beach?  I will never know :P  But since we didn't swim we went to the boardwalk area and checked out the pier and some of the shops and restaurants.  It was a nice day.

This is the Disney Cruise Line!  I was really excited to see this!  The quality isn't the best because my phone is zoomed in all the way.

After the beach we went to see fireworks at Magic Kingdom, and right after the fireworks it was the electric parade!  I remember seeing this as a kid when I went with my family to Disney world so it was kinda cool to see it again!  This is unfortunately the only picture I took.  It is of peter pan and captain hook fighting on a ship.

Since this day I haven't done really much except I did see The Hunger Games.  The books were so good I am so happy the movie did the first book justice!  Hopefully I will have done some more things in the next week or so, so that way I can update more :)
